Dr. Vincent Lam is an ophthalmologist specializing in corneal diseases, cataract surgery, laser refractive surgery, and uveitis.  He completed a fellowship in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery at Columbia University. Prior to that, he completed a uveitis fellowship at the world renowned Francis I. Proctor Foundation at the University of California at San Francisco. He is also a board certified optometrist, allowing him a more comprehensive and unique perspective on ophthalmic care.

As a staff surgeon at William Osler Health System, Dr. Lam offers the full spectrum of corneal transplantation services in addition to cataract surgery and other anterior segment procedures. In addition to patient care, Dr. Lam is a lecturer at the University of Toronto Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. He is also a reviewer for the Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology. He has conducted significant research which has appeared in a number of peer-reviewed publications.

Dr. Lam is a Fellow of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Canadian Ophthalmological Society, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the International Society of Refractive Surgeons. He speaks Cantonese.
