Our Consultants

Dr. Weisbrod is an assistant professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences at the University of Toronto and completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Toronto.

He is fellowship trained in Medical Retina with expertise in the diagnosis and management of numerous diseases of the retina and vitreous, including age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.

‍

He is on staff at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and a consultant in the Ocular Oncology Service at Princess Margaret Hospital, where he is engaged in academic practice. He is also an attending physician at St. Joseph’s Health Centre.

Dr. Weisbrod is currently the Undergraduate Medical Education director for the Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences at the University of Toronto.
